In December 2025 this Advent Calender Book was published in Germany and France.
Written and illustrated by me this Christmas story can be enjoyed before it opens out into a fold out advent calendar at the end. Best to read in the run up to Christmas! It again features the animal friends as they go on an adventure following the bright star to see where it may lead.
Endlich Fruhling’ or ‘Spring at Last’ was written by German author Michael Engler and illustrated by me. It was published in Spring 2023 in Germany and also in France.
Following on from the success of ‘The Mitten’ arsEdition, Germany have commissioned me to work on two more books in the series, featuring the same animal characters.
The Lost Reindeer was written and illustrated by me, and translated into German as ‘Das verlorene Rentier’. It was published in Germany in October 2023, and in France
The Mitten is an old Ukrainian folktale.
‘Der verlorene Handschuh’, the original retold version published by arsEdition, Germany has been published with no text, as a wordless or ‘silent book’. This allows much scope for imagination and discussion between the storyteller and child, encouraging communication and language development. This book has been very successful across Europe with many reprints and co-editions.
It has continued to be re-published and this year will have a new cover with silver foil to match ‘Das verlorene Rentier’
